MAR GREGORIOS SYRIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH

Saint Gregorios of Parumala (1848–1902), known as 'Parumala Thirumeni', was the first canonized saint from the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church in Kerala, India. A deeply pious bishop known for his humility, rigorous fasting, and miracles, he was consecrated at age 28 and dedicated his life to education, social upliftment, and missionary work, particularly supporting the poor.
